Free art workshop as part of Summer of Smiles.

Delivered in partnership with Prith Biant, with funding from Cardiff Council as part of the Summer of Smiles programme, Grange Pavilion proudly presents a free two-hour art session for children age 9-14 years old.

Delivered by portrait artist Prith Biant, this is an art class with a difference.

An opportunity for children to learn how to draw and paint faces whilst exploring heroes from black and minority ethnic backgrounds.

These sessions aim to develop pride in the children’s own cultural identity, whatever that may be.
3 sessions in total, over three weeks, each one building different skills. Ideal for children 9-14. The sessions will be run in English. Younger children can be accompanied by an adult.

Parents are welcome to wait on site and enjoy the Pavilion grounds and café.

Spaces are limited to 15 children. Booking is essential.
